Today, Congresswoman Suzan DelBene (WA-01) released the following statement after President Trump fired Attorney General Pam Bondi:
“Pam Bondi turned a blind eye to Trump’s broad daylight corruption, covered up the Epstein Files, used the law to go after the president’s political enemies, and fired career prosecutors who opposed her.
“We need an attorney general who will restore independence to the Justice Department, not act like the president’s personal attorney.”
